willywhit
Dano, I've seen some Nordicas lately too that have leatherized bladders and look like these Rossis. Size 245 (Mens 6.5, womens 7.5) are you thinking for Karen ? Weasel used to run some mountainering Nordicas almost like the SBH's and said they worked well. What ever happened to Weasel ? mnovak
A while back the ski boot makers came out with hybrid soft-hard boots. Most of the major makers tried it and I almost bought a pair myself because they were sooooo comfortable in the shop. They died out fast as people found out the comfort in the shop is not the same as on the hill and the amount of effort required to ski in them compared to a regular boot. Glad I was a skeptic and kept my conventional boots. Don't think anyone tried this for snowboard boots, but it would be interesting to throw some on an alpine deck just to see. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller, Bueller?
BobD
totally suck for carving on skis. The flex on ski soft boots is great, but the things are soooo wide. Bootout is a real problem on skis. BobD
