I think I have given up on softies myself. Seems like my plastic ratchets know to break when the snow is fresh. My solution for powder days is TD2s with soft rings, Delux LeMans and 168 Donek Incline. Rode 8 inches fresh at Copper this morning. More is falling, tomorrow will be deeper.
