skatha
I know a fair percentage of you guys are Red Sox fans, and a fair percentage of you are Yankee fans...but, geez louise, what a game yesterday... I went to a Cub scout outing (den leader here) and missed the first 13 innings- missed seeing my fav 'stro Brad Ausmus homer and take it to extra innings...but was solidly entrenched with a beer and the radio on the back porch thereafter, listening to Milo Hamilton call the game. Longest playoff game... Only playoff game with 2 grand slams... Rocket coming in in-relief.... Walk off homer-right after my husband called Burke a bum.... NMU Alpine Boarder
Agreed 100% I got lucky and turned it on during the 8th as I sat down to do homework.... 3 hours later I got absolutely nothing done Best game I have seen... Mike T
Happened to turn the TV on in the 14th, enjoyed watching the rest... In any case I'm cheering for the Stros or Cards, whichever one makes it, to win the series as NL victories seem to bode well for a good snow season, at least since I've been living here. skatha
I'll pass that along to the 'stros ;) Hey, maybe if the NL consistently starts winning, we'll reverse global warming
