bobdea
at the top of the cuff there are a series of holes that a plastic peice can fit in and that peice is also held in part by the velcro strap when riding if you have the earth, ice, shadow, freecarve, and some of the earliest reactors those boots did not have these but the last few years of the reactor and furnace through till the last year of the fire and wind did have these doohickes they made a slightly noticable difference, if the idea was improved upon it could be pretty cool though the cuff alignment/cant is not what I meant but I agree that the adjustment for the cuff alignment is better than the deeluxe stuff, well at least from 1999 on it was but the older burton boots would slip just like the raichles if anyone needs burton parts I do have some that I just gotta find, I think that its mostly cants and some buckles but I have to look. xray
As far as the liners are concerned, I ride my Fire's with Salomon Custom Fit skiboot liners. They do have the necessary forward flex and have a very nice and snug fit!
