astrokel
I just heard of this tonite... I'll run over there for lunch tomorrow for a peek... I'm sure it'll be pure style stuff like the Puma "black" store that opened in the meat packing district but it'll be interesting to see... So I wonder if the Ducati board will be sold at the Burton store or at the Ducati/Aprilia/MotoGuzzi shop down the street? Hmmmmm... Life's wonders... skatha
If Burton's involved, you know it's 90% fluff and 10% equipment..... The catalog this year, no joke, is mainly outerwear, with a few board references....
astrokel
OK it's official... Burton is now a clothing company with some hardgoods thrown in for some grip on authenticity (note: "slight" exageration). Though the Vapor with it's "aircore" is really amazing in how light it is. Anyway it WAS fun to see... Quicksilver was right across the street which is interesting because it sort of is the Burton equivalent in surfing but a few years ahead in the marketing world.
