bjvircks Posted September 14, 2005 Report Share Posted September 14, 2005 I'm looking to hook up with carvers this winter. I'm going to be at Park City Dec 10-17 and Heavenly Jan 22-29. I want to learn about the gear, try as much as I can and start getting set up. I've been riding about 5 yr and realized last year that I was starting to carve and really enjoying the ride. There is something unreal about coming out of a carve with so much momentum that you let it carry you UP the slope, and then you lean back DOWNHILL and roll the edge into the next carve, still going up! Oh yeah! It's a wonderful sensation that most people don't get to experience. If you come out to Vermont, there's all kinds of riders at Stratton to hook up with.
