I have been at Mt Hotham all this week and going up again for a couple more days tomorrow, but it just makes me long for Colorado. Man made slush on a base of beginner rutted ice, if you are lucky. In fact, I wasn't so lucky, and snapped a board when I went right through the base onto a big granite rock. Thank god it wasn't my new Prior, but it does mean I am stuck riding softies for the rest of the week. Oh well, at least one good thing is the girlfriend is getting heaps better, so I don't get so frustrated riding with her anymore. When I get home will be packing up the gear until Feb.
