vmartinez Posted September 26, 2023 Report Share Posted September 26, 2023 Depends on where your staying. The bus runs a lot so there are plenty of times to get up there and leave. But there is not many places to stash stuff. Parking has been a pain the last 3 years so if the Cottonwood's are closed then it's almost impossible to get up to Basin. If your taking a Carving board it can get chaotic with the number of people up there so I take two boards. One for the morning then one for later. Hope this helps. Really nice base lodge and restaurant area, great patio scene outside. Wildcat Bowl sounds like a bowl but it’s a misnomer. It’s a run that felt more like a gigantic carvable half pipe along the middle portion, which was unusual and fun. Lots of variety of trails up higher on the mountain.
