Jack M
Megan Farrell, 30, took her first World Cup podium with second place in PSL at Berchtesgaden Germany yesterday, March 19, 2022! The medal jumps her to 5th place overall in World Cup PSL for the season! https://www.cbc.ca/sports/olympics/winter/snowboard/megan-farrell-snowboard-world-cup-berchtesgaden-1.6391052
ShortcutToMoncton
It’s hard to tell on that video if it’s real or just the angle, but seemed like Zogg had a small split-second transition slip right in the middle that threw her off for a gate or two before roaring back. Curious, is Ledecka racing this year? Don’t see her name their or on the final standings. Maybe concentrating on skiing?
Neil Gendzwill
Looks like she raced some PGS in December, won the whole shebang at the Olympics, and has been concentrating on skiing otherwise. Her FIS record is here.
ShortcutToMoncton
Ahhh, I figured. It would be super interesting to know how her funding actually splits out, but I would (ignorantly) assume that skiing is the moneymaker….
Jack M
Woops, that site won't allow the video to be shown in the US. Here is the big final: @ShortcutToMoncton Seems like Ledecka is trying to bring her skiing up to par with her snowboarding. She was untouchable in the Olympic PGS.
