cfj04
I remeber a few people asking about protecting the board topsheets - worth a try http://www.tattooboards.com/default2.asp?offset=

Chris Houghton
Nothing longer than 170 - who rides a board that short? Kent maybe? Surely not D-Sub, Kamran or Trikerdad. Guess we'd have to splice two together.
D-Sub
plotter vinyl, 5 year outdoor. TONS of it on ebay in lots of very cool colors someone mentioned contact paper...tried that and it came off in one run. check this out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7510626138&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=
trikerdad
3M makes an aerospace aplication polyurethane 8.0 mil tape with an acrylic adhesive backing. It comes in clear and gloss black in a 12" by 36 yard roll. The probem is, you can't get it in a smaller amount than 36 yards and it costs $400 (must be good stuff!). I've thought about buying a roll of Black and taking orders through the forum. It would run approx $19 for a 7' piece including shipping. Anyone interested? Dave, have you used the stuff you pointed out on ebay?
D-Sub
havent used any of it yet. got some metallica charcoal colored on the way, but wont be able to get results for a little bit.
Neil Gendzwill
D-sub: What was wrong with your old plan of leaving the original protector sheet on?
D-Sub
youre kidding, right? the one on the coiler was a matte finish...you couldnt see the topsheet all that well. this plotter vinyl definitely comes in clear, too.
