All racers can "free carve", but very few "free carvers" can ride using racing technique (or at least similar to racing technique) LOL. Love the racing technique - stability, speed, ease of changing direction at any time, safety, riding down the hill, not across the hill, controlling speed by putting board very high on edge in apex of the turn...
