Some areas have received from 15-20" of fresh in the past 48 hrs. And we're talkin' cool temps and dry Utah POW here, not the spring-like stuff we've seen lately. Plates on the freeride today - some carving here and there, LOTS of floatin', some trees and a few kickers thrown in - fun day! Rode with my 8 yr old and he's rippin' it up! (He was too ill for school, but feeling much better now :D) If anyone is still lookin' for last minute destinations for a spring getaway, come on out to Utah! Geez, listen to me - maybe I should work for a travel agency :rolleyes: Anyone else getting dumped upon here out west (Idaho, Montana)? - I know CA is getting it! We've gotten 6 - 12" in Oregon. For this season, that qualifies as a dump. Mt Hood Meadows is reopening tomorrow albeit with extremely limited terrain. I'll be up there messing up as much of it as I can until Friday when I have to head south for a week to help my son build a garden shed. He's bribing me with the promise of lots of golf.
