mirror70
As the season has progressed, the topsheet on my FP64 has gone from nice and smooth to having small longitudinal ribs that run the length of the board. They look a bit like the wood strips that you see in Madds, but narrower. Today I was able to feel them when I ran my fingers across the topsheet, so they are definitely getting bigger. Is this a sign of the board's impending demise, or is it a normal part of the aging process? My F2, which has seen probably 3x as many days, does not show the same signs of age, although it does have a much different construction so perhaps that is why. bobdea
that has happened to a few decks I have had, one of them is still unridden. I would like to know what does this but I don't think its a big deal, I bet it is just the topsheet changing a bit.
