dr. sandman
Any one have info on this binding? I picked them up cheap, but are they (million dollar question) SAFE?. Also, any one know where I can get a cant plate for these??? (no, they're not mounted that close - just sitting there for pic) Thanks,
mirror70
KenW's wife used to ride those, but IIRC, she had an ejection last season and won't use them again. Is the risk really worth the time you save by not having to bend over? Over the course of the season you might save as much as a full minute, unless your season gets cuts short as a result of the bindings. Phil
I have known a few that have ejected as well. I would steer clear.
kirtap
Even my regular Burton Race Plates have pre released twice on me in the past 2 years. Scary stuff. I think i have it all set up right, its usually fine, but flexible, and for those 2 times that it did release it was the very middle of a carve. Front binding released. I was lucky I didn't break something.
Guest WC Rider
My bro rode those for a few years back when they were only a couple years old... he didn't have any ejection issues... he rides with boots that have a soft sole so has problems "stepping" in... if I remember correctly there was a fair bit of play in the system once they were latched... watch your fingers, those are very powerful rat-traps
