Hindsight being 20/20 I might have picked a Coiler RC 175 or FC 173 over the Madd 170, if for no other reason that my weight.

Yeah I can't see myself buying/riding anything but a Coiler for the rest of my days...I love my RC175 and can only think that I might want an AM

Madd Limbo!

I was not aware of the SCR when I got on it.

I found it was able to crank various radius shapes as required, depending on what I called upon it to do. Good fun!

NEVER did I think I would enter the Limbo Contest. But someone sucked us in with his never ending snowboard spirit of competition. Thanks, this was a blast. Old dogs can learn new tricks. Skinny guys rule!! Turn hips flat , this is what I learned!!

I think this event needs a "Handicapping" system for the big guys.

One of the "Thicker" guys laid down next to the bar and couldn't get under it crawling. Back on the low carb diet for next season.

Enjoy. Bryan

PS, there was a guy there with a video camera. He was not a part of SES , however he was fully jazzed about the whole concept. Fin, did you get his info???

He captured some really good footage that day.

Oh, and thanks for cutting me some HUGE slack on my second run.

Mirror70,

I suggest reading my announcement at the top again. When you do, you'll see the ONLY reason we deleted the text was that it was from a ex-member of BOL who has been banned from posting for the past several months. It has nothing to do with their opinion, they are not to post on this forum regardless of what they say.

Actually, what I should have done was delete the entire thread but for the sake of a productive conversation we left it up and running. So not sure why you think we deleted this thread when we are talking in it right now?

And for the record we have never deleted a thread about Madd snowboards. We did "freeze" one as it got out of hand and broke the rules of this forum. So what threads are you referring to that you are tired seeing being deleted?

The ex-member who is doing this is purposely trying to cause tension in our community. And he is doing this even when we asked him to leave. Is this the kind of behavior you want on your BOL forum?

Deleted posts are saved in a off-line folder.

So what posts are you referring too? Give me a time frame, date, topic, etc. and I'll look it up.

Should be easy to find what you need, as apparently we have deleted so many threads on Madd it is making you "tired".

Oh, and use the "Search" function, I found the one thread we locked on Madd HERE

Any other help I can be, just let me know.

Mirror70,

Man, I have got to make that "Search" function stand out more. Should be in the bottom right corner of your screen on the front forum page... ;)

Did a quick search and only back to December. But found these that might give you the information you seek. All these threads exist on the forum and are currently not deleted:

http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?threadid=3756&perpage=30&hig

http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?threadid=4729&highlight=madd

http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?threadid=4058&highlight=madd

http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?threadid=4326&highlight=madd

http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?threadid=4244&highlight=madd

http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?threadid=3695&highlight=madd

If you still think there is a thread we deleted on this topic, give me a time frame you think this might have happened and I can do a better search of these threads we apparently deleted.

Anything else?

I can't compare the old and the new versions because I only discovered these boards last year at SES 04. I needed a replacement for a beat up Rossi 171, I demoed different boards but stopped looking after I tried the Madd 170. I bought a demo at the end of the session.

This year I had no excuse. I still have a F2 Speedster 182 in pretty good shape, but Mike and Shaggy brought protos of the 180s. I had to have one... and I have a F2 for sale.

I've been riding plates for a looong time and there aren't that many boards (after 4 SES) that have felt right from the first turn. Both the 170 & the 180 belong to this category for me. And by the way, I weigh 210 pounds...
