PatriceNYC
I have some heel pain on my back foot and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to alleviate this pain. I guess you would call it a bone spur. When I had the liners molded last year at the boot fitter he puched out a space for this hot spot. I put some moleskin around the pressure point which seems to help some and I also decreased the cant. Thanks for any suggestions. ARCrider
similar problem heel back pain from heels lifting went to an excellent bootfitter. Bought some new orthotics on his recommendation. With the orthotics came a boot fit guaranty. He then used a dremel and removed some of the shell at the hotspot, couldn't bump it. He also padded the tongue of the boot to push the heel more firmly into the pocket and keep it there. This work was done in December and no problems since. I think the tongue padding did the trick.
