cemom
I'm looking at a couple of GS and S boards for my son who is 5'11 140lbs and wears a 28 mondo. He rides goofy and races usasa. What waste width board is ok for his shoe size? 19.2cm ok? Any advise is appreciated...

lonbordin
It depends... the sidecut radius of the board (yup, GS and SL are different), whether or not he uses a plate, the type of bindings he's going to use, the brand/type of boots and especially his stance angles. I'd call Donek and have a talk with Sean.
neil sunday
A 19.2 cm SG would work. A Kessler will be hard to determine based on the custom nature of the boards. We would need to determine the waist width before purchase. Did you recieve my text today? I sent it as I left the mountain.
theboarderdude
wow... um I'm identical. 5'10", 140lbs, goofy, 29.5 mondo. I recently bought a Donek Rev 170, 20cm width. AWESOME BOARD, edge hold is beyond compare, vsr is incredibly effective, makes 40mph feel like 20mph.
