tpalka
I'm still trying to scratch that itch, and have had a hard time finding a used one... Hoping someone has one they'd let go of, tom.

www.oldsnowboards.com
Tom, have you used other terms in your searches? I remember that some are called other things, like "Uni-board" etc. Just a thought. I have not seen any in my rounds lately. http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/uniboard-teleboard-177-cm-telemark-218621245 http://www.skisite.com/manufDetail.cfm?id=6484&mType=Other%20Gear http://classic.mountainzone.com/gear/teleboard/index.html Did not know that Donek built the "World" Mono Ski?? http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/world-monoboard-monoski-lofo-non-127964028 Here is your new avatar :) Edited January 22, 2013 by www.oldsnowboards.com
tpalka
Thanks, Bryan. I emailed with the Fey brothers that make these boards, and I don't want to spend $700 for a new one. At least not without having a chance to ride one first. Just like some BOL members are moving to AT boots so that they can switch out to skis easily, I'd like to try this board to go with my telemarks :) And it looks like a lot of fun too. Thanks, tom. Beckmann AG
Tom, Heard back from my guy, and he wants to hold onto his board a while longer. Sorry for the false lead. Good luck in your quest.
WPCARVER
I was just in a steamboat 2nd hand shop and they had one sitting by the door. looked to be in good shape. I don't know the name of the shop just that its at the west end of town on the left. You could probably figure out which one with a look in a phone book. Hope this helps. tpalka
Thank you for trying, Eric, much appreciated. WPCarver -- thanks for the tip, I'll give them a shout tomorrow. I do think I remember the shop, at the end of Main St. Thanks!
tpalka
I was just in a steamboat 2nd hand shop and they had one sitting by the door... Thank you! I called them up, pictures looked great, I'm the proud new owner. I'll post a video of the first runs, should have some nice carnage in it :) tom. tpalka
Thanks again. I picked the board from Steamboat a few days ago, rode it the first time today. I'll put up a post on it on the main forum, since it's real carving :) It's a very fun tool. tom.
