utah expression session

I know that is has been talked about on the old message board but I need to know if the dates had ever been finalized for the UES. I will be coming up from Southern Cal and staying with my bro in Riverton. I just need to know the dates so I can book my flight. Also, did you ever finalize decisions on where we will be riding? I know that lots of resorts were suggested.

Yep, we have talked a lot about it, but not solidified any dates.

So, anyone interested, SPEAK UP! Late January, or early February, in between ECES and SES, that's my vote. As for places to ride? The Canyons, Park City are my votes. Others have suggested Snow Basin and Solitude as well.

If we don't have an "Official" expression session, I'm sure you could hook up with a few of us when you get here anyway...

Do we have any sponsors yet? I realize that this event is in the planning stages still and may end up being impromptu. But, if we could get some local Salt Lake sponsorship, that could be very helpful in the future. REI, Garts, Salty, who else? What about group discounts for PC, Canyons, or Basin? I'm happy to help. Has someone already started looking into some local or distant help?

I just spoke to my bro in Rivertin and he is pumped about carving with other guys in the area. He says he doesn't like carving cuz he is usually the only one at the resort that he goes to.

I might need a ride one day as I don't thik my brother can get all those days off, Is that possible form one of you Utah locals?

I ride Summit quite a bit, Bear has turned into a jibber's smorgasboard. Summit bought Bear last season and they decided to put all the jibbers there by building them a huge terrain park, pipes, rails, boxes, sacks, suitcases, whatever you want to call them. Summit now becomes more family oriented and more carver friendly too!

I also head up to Mammoth whenever I get the chance to do so.
