Bachelor’s Candy Cane Lane, bringing Santa Claus to the slopes for a much needed ski vacation on Friday and Saturday, December 24 and 25 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. On Christmas Eve and Day, Santa will take a break from delivering toys to enjoy the snow at Mt. Bachelor and deliver goody bags of candy to the kids. Cloud 9 Photos will be have an “elf photographer” available Friday and Saturday so guests can have their pictures taken with Santa. Candy Cane Lane, a children’s run usually known as Dilly Dally Alley, is beneath the Sunrise Express chairlift. Currently Mt. Bachelor has a base snow depth of four feet. Sunny skies and cold temperatures are forecast on Christmas Day. The resort has had full mountain operations since Saturday, December 18. During the holidays the resort lifts run from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and the Snowblast tubing park operates from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. On Christmas Day the Lower Castle Keep restaurant will offer a traditional holiday buffet starting at 11:30 am. Priced at $13 for adults and $9 for kids 12 and under, guests can enjoy prime rib, roast turkey, herb and apple dressing, corn chowder, spinach salad, pecan and apple pie and more.
