Guest Randy S.
Yesterday and Today in Nassfeld Austria, Jasey Jay stood on the top step of the Podium in World Cup Snowboardcross competition. I'm always amazed when riders can win repeatedly in SBX. Lindsay won every race she entered last season. That's amazing given all the variables in that sport. Anyone find an article about the race? CarvCanada
Jasey wins so much! He's one of the few who has the balls to ride hardboots and (almost) an alpine board. He's also one of the few who actually lays out smooth carves in the turns. I love watching him in SBX
Chris Houghton
And the tail is red because.................the blood is not as obvious. After all, this is BX!
NMU Alpine Boarder
Originally posted by yyzcanuck I believe Jasey Jay was riding a 180 COILER in both the races. Yep, sounds right... I remember Bruce posting this somewhere on here last year...
NateW
I remember that thread... As I recall, it tapered off (so to speak (the 180 has 6mm taper, incidentally)) after Bruce said that Jasey found that shorter wider boards were faster in the flats. Interesting that he went back to long and skinny, and won that way.
