Going to have to know the angles you want to run first, but I am guessing you will want a wider board as a new rider.

Wider board and lower angles help me learn too. As I got the hang of it I started going with 65* but found the optimal setting for me to be at 50-55*.

Yes. And if you're a new rider, it's going to be a while before you're really generating high edge angles/board angles when riding. You can afford to have some toe/heel overhang without worrying about booting out. When/if you start to eurocarve, then you'll need to think about increasing angles or getting a fatter board.
