P06781
It seems like combining the v-flex with some td1's and it would give a cheap td2 ...? Interesting product, anyone ever try it ? Jim
nekdut
Its a riser plate for softboot bindings. It's actually supposed to be one of the better riser systems out there as it tries to maintain natural board flex. Alpinecarving.com has this to say about it: http://alpinecarving.com/binding_setup.html#risers
P06781
He is something from the snowboard journal... Bindings Use New Features Like Power Plates for Better Control and Edge Hold Skiers have been doing it for years. Now Volkl has a riser for snowboards that provides damping and elevation for improved power transfer. The V-Flex can be used with strap, step-in or plate bindings. Volkl has also designed a new highback that provides stiffness without the discomfort. New straps conform to the rider's boots, spreading pressure uniformly over the foot. Volkl also offers women's and youth bindings.

Guest Spencer
I had a pair a few years ago. They do add quite a bit of power to your ride. At the expense of feel of course. Much easier to put down pencil thin lines on a freeride board but I could not go into the trees, bumps or crud anymore.
Guest lonecarver
Since I can't find comfortable soft boots I use the palmer power links on my freeride board with plates and hard boots on powder days. rides great.:D
