ExcelsiorTheFathead
This morning while staring at my legs in Uttanasana, I noticed that the hair is starting to grow back over the front of my shin bone now that my season is over. There is an area from mid-shin, extending down a few inches, where I clearly rub against the tongue of my boot. I don't have shin bang, nor any discomfort whatsoever, but the skin in front of the bone clearly shows that I drive my rear shin forward while riding. My front shin shows some of this as well, but to a lesser extent. I know that this is fairly common and a normal consequence of riding, but I wonder if it could indicate some element of bad form or stance? J0hn
I don't know if it's bad or not, but I get the same thing. It's actually a little calloused right there. In my mind I feel like I'm driving more with my front leg, but the bare spot is only on the rear leg.
