There's a person a few feet in front of you, a person a few feet to the left, another a few feet to the right, and one right behind you. Everybody is travelling at the same speed, in a dead-straight line. Every now and again a small gap opens up in front of you, and you have room to make a quick turn, before rejoining the procession of sideslippers. And they think it's fun.
