arcing
I am looking for race gear for kids aged 7-12. Anyone out there working with kids on hardboot gear? What brands are you using? Are there any companies making kids sized hardboots. I have been looking at using ski boots after a good bench grinder session to make some boots, but would like to use real hardboots. I am talking about mondo sizes down to 21 or 22. Also, who is making kids sized race boards. I have seen a few on bomberonline and know of another company too, but wonder if there are more? appreciate any suggestions

kinpa
I've also got a pretty cheap Oxygen 149 that I'd be ready to part with ... is that too big for your kids? I loved it for a few years, but I suppose I'm ready to make the leap to bigger boards! Time to pass it on.
arcing
Hey Kinpa, how much do you want for the board? Its on the long side for kids but I am interested. Is it a full on racing board? gene
kinpa
I'm sorry Gene.... I'm pretty much sure that it's already sold. If it doesn't go through though, I'll let you know.
Scuff
It is hard to find junior-sized gear that is in good used condition. Many of our junior racers run gates on their freestyle gear until they fit into a Sz 22 boot Or if a board or boots are passed down from an older rider. Apart from waiting for gear, some are waiting By direction - many 7 year old riders that I work with are just not proficient enough carvers yet. The smallest alpine boards on our team include the 125 SG, 140 SG, 135 Burton FP, 144 Ogasaka, 148 oxygen, 146 Burton FP, 148 Sims and a 148 volkl RT. The Sims board is available now with bindings. The Ogasaka will be for sale after nationals (if it's not already claimed. ) I also know of a couple Burton 154-ish length boards for sale. SG and Donek have stock junior boards, Though I am sure Donek, prior, coiler or Kessler will custom-make Anything you want. Happy Hunting. ~Karl

Donek
I believe there are 3 brand new SG junior boards leaning against the wall at Bomber and as usual, I m happy to add some shorter pilots to the line. All that is necessary is to place an order.
