John Gilmour
So I was shocked today. I thought todays conditions on Conquest were amongst the best packed powder for carving I have ever experienced. So incredibly smooth- the transitions were effortless....the snow was so smooth you almost could not feel it.. Easy to carve, easy to lay it out.. really run.. Rivaling some of the better days in Aspen. I doubt it will stay this nice though as the sun was beating down hard...and I think it will start to get firmer and firmer. But today it was firm on top with enough softer snow- and then a slightly softer layer underneath to absorb ALL SHOCK..and then it got progressively firmer...at no point did I ever hit so much as an ice chip. I will head up Thursday with PMN
KingCrimson
You need to try some of our manmade if you thought that ish was good. That stuff gets blown semi wet in drifts, freezes in mounds, and then they groom the **** out of it. It's the most consistent, perfect snow.
