scrutton
I've read the FAQ article. UPZ RSV's in Catek OS2's. If I line the center lines of the boot up across the center bolt in the binding (the bindings are mounted centered on the board), I have to mount the boots pretty forward on the binding plate. That seems fine. I think it's because of the recessed heel rear mount on the UPZ's. When I then set the angulation, the toe gets to the edge of the board, before the heel does. I'm using a rule held vertically on the edge of the board to judge this. Ignoring any difference in me being able to deliver forward or rear pressure on the boot, and assuming that I want the boot heel and toe to have equal clearance, it looks to me that I need to ignore the center markings of the boots, and move them back 1/2" or so in the binding.
