chippermon
Can anyone steer me in the direction of a set of Catek Olympic base plates? Thanks
tdifan_2003
OS 1, OS 2, short, long.....
chippermon
Just the base disk kit. Not the whole binding. This will allow me to switch my boot plates from board to board. Easier to bring all the boards when travelling (less space in bag) not to mention a good cost effective solution for a quiver.
chippermon
On the binding it reads, Catek Olympic Series, Model S. I can't find any information on whether or not OS1 or OS2 plates are the same thing or even inter changable.

I can't find any information on whether or not OS1 or OS2 plates are the same thing or even inter changable. Just post a picture of your plates. FYI, I do have the power plates only for OS 2 - short and gold - for sale or trade.
chippermon
To be more specific, I need the discs with the spherical nut and elastomer ring.
Chris Houghton
That is the "Olympic" model, later referred to as OS1 once the OS2's were released. Watch that you get the right sized king pin and spherical nut, the early versions were the same size as the previous Cateks and later versions were a smaller diameter. At a guess I'd say yours are the version with the larger kingpin, but measure to be sure.
