Wolf
I'm interested in the Alp, depending on what year it is (looking for a '96). Please email me some pictures at wolf_walk (at) hotmail (dawt) com.

minimoxie
Sorry for budding in. I'm new to the carving seen but I have a 1996 Burton Alp that I rode this past season. What makes this board so much better than the newer ones?
calgaryrider
Compared to all the other carving boards, this one was wider, smother lighter flex and a great all around board. I would use mine on big powder days in Fernie and have the time of my life, and still lay down a few carves on the groomers at the end of the day. Wolf
I have a '96 156 Alp (sidewall construction) that I like to use for quick turns when the hill gets crowded. I had a chance to try a '98 157 Alp (cap), and to me the older sidewall board just feels snappier. But I gotta admit that I also like the '96 vintage Alp for the classy looking topsheet - pinstripes like a button-down shirt, plus a little animal logo near the nose.
