ptyxis
I've been looking into getting into carving since basically I started boarding which was 11 years ago. I've got a couple of questions for the knowledgeable people of this forum. I have no clue what I'm looking for, but I need to start somewhere. I'm 5'11" 180lbs and I don't know what length of board I would need to be looking for. I found an old 180 cm Burton but that seems a little long for me considering I'm used to free ride boards. Anybody have any pointers? Thanks so much.
Jack M
180 would probably be too long to get started. Look for 163 <= a board <= 171. However the first step is to learn how to carve on your softies - can you carve the downhill edge?
ptyxis
I can definitely carve, still have to get used to it, but I can do it.
