I had to stop skiing with two skis because of a broken disc in my back which caused a drop-foot and loss of about 60% of my muscle mass. My equipment , bought secondhand from friends that quit skiing, is getting rather worn out. It looks like I am the only one on a monoski in my area.:( The possibilities of buying new equipment is rather difficult around here and because of me being a novice in this I do not know what to look for. The possibilities of trying equipment is nil too. Going to the States is a bit too expensive too. Any suggestions ? Anyone??
