heroshmero
I have a question about where the toe/heel blocks mount on a TD baseplate and if that changes between a standard bail binding and a step-in. I wear a size 30 HEAD Stratus Pro and and have TD2 Step-ins. I found that, for my rear foot, I had to buy a long baseplate in order to get the bias of the boot on the board right (with the standard size baseplate my toe would overhang). Does anybody know if the standard bail binding fits the boot any differently than the step-in? In other words would the heel block be closer to the toe with a bail binding? Or, is the heel position of the step-in the same as a bail binding? Thanks.
heroshmero
Anybody got any input on this? This isn't really a show stopper anymore. I contacted Bomber and they now have TD3 style long baseplates.
