BobD
I'm constantly amazed by the lengths we went to in order to confuse the enemy during that war. This was one of the best http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Man_Who_Never_Was There were so many. Like the squadrons of bombers circling around the channel, dropping chaff, to convince the Germans that the invasion fleet was heading to Calais. Another great deception was Eddie Chapman, pre war criminal turned double agent. One of the war's great characters. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eddie_Chapman http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/books/non-fiction/article1937243.ece OT, but I was so pissed to watch Inglorious Bastards. There are tens of thousands of incredible stories to come out of WW11, why make up such a crock based on nothing real.
