rjnakata
Hi SoCal Carvers! What do you guys think about about Snow Valley? Is it "carve friendly"? How would you compare to Snow Summit? Your insight is much appreciated. We've got snow!
slopestar
I really enjoy snow valley except for the extremely old and slow chairs. I think it is carve friendly but a little flat in most areas. The park would be a great place/run for carving if it were not littered with bumps jumps etc...a fun alternative for midweek. Weekends are a zoo..
Terryw
Worked there many moons ago as a liftie. It can be a fun place to ride as long as there are snow conditions like we have now. Mid week is definitely the only time you want to be there.
rjnakata
Hey thanks guys. I've spent a lot of time in Tahoe (pre-carve days) but I'm new to Southern California and I'm trying to get a picture of the local places...it's all new to me. There can't alway be this much snow(?), can there? I'll Snow Valley a try sometime. I like slow lifts - it give me time to rest!
