emorris
I have searched the archives and cannot seem to see anything on this. Sorry if this was discussed already and it seems a newb question. Is there any difference between canting in the boots and in the bindings? canuckcarver
i dont think so, i think the boot canting is more a micro adjustment, at least from ive read and learned is always adjust the binding canting before messing with the boots. my two cents, hope it helps. MUD
Typically boot canting is to adjust for physical traits, knock knees or bowed legs. You would adjust the boot cant until as you stomp, your boot hits flat.
b0ardski
boot cant deals with knee to foot alignment issues;ie stacking your weight over the edge. binding cant deals with entire skeleton to board interface alignment issues. mrs. boardski and I have been dealing with ski boot and binding cant, and knee to foot alignment on skis and snow boards for 15 years. boot cant does not = binding cant
