nitrohuck
Hey guys, New to BOL but have arrived here through numerous recommendations! To cut to the chase, I am selling my Madd 170 (I believe 2004? red sidewalls whichever year that came out first) it has been ridden a handful of times, I was a boarder cross racer based out of stratton mountain school and therefore used to hard boot a lot for training, but this board came in late in the season for me so I never really ended up using it. Only has one (about 2mm wide if even) dent in the sidewall, which does NOT affect the edges whatsoever... board is in perfect condition otherwise, none of the "usual Madd defects" that I have been reading about, no delam, edges perfectly flush with the base, etc. etc. camber = perfect still For the Madd I am asking $450, as it was bought at the retail price I believe, and cutting $350+ off the price for only riding it maybe 7 days brings a tear to the eye but I'll let it go happily for that. If you want the Phiokkas that are attached, I'll do it for $550 total (includes canting plate etc.) Board has the Madd kid graphic which is gettin rare these days! Also if you are in the northeast, a pickup could possibly be coordinated. I am in southern VT but drive down to NYC constantly as well. ___________________ Nidecker Custom GS 178 This board is in perfect condition for being so old. I believe the season must be '03 for it. Edges not are not even rusted in the least, some darkening in spots but I would happily take that off with a diamond stone before sending it (about 1.5 min worth of work). The base is kept very well, sidewall has no cracks or damage. Scuff marks on the top which are very light from bindings being attached. This was my first alpine board I ever rode. I am asking $150 for this board + ship. Paypal is my preferred method of payment unless we coordinate a pickup in which case a check or cash is fine. scrapster
If the bindings don't sell with the Madd, would you sell them separately? If so, I'm interested.

nitrohuck
sorry I have been out of town till a few hours ago so I could post but couldn't take photos. After getting back I took a look at the base of the board and there is, in fact, a a nick in it. Maybe I didn't see this before due to poor lighting I don't know but I should have noticed it. Anyway I've included pictures of that as well. Other than this nick and two (extremely minor) scratches which wouldn't show up in the picture, the base is still absolutely great, and has not come close to losing its structure, although it is quite dry. It looks a little messy because I wiped it off with a wet towel for a min to snap these shots since I'm in a hurry to get to work. As for the sidewall dent, tried taking a clearer photo of that, but my camera (all i have is my iPhone) won't fully focus on it being so small and up close, but I put the quarter there to reference so you can get a better idea. Again the edges are NOT affected from this, only the plastic sidewall.
jetskier
How deep is the nick? Does it go all the way through the base?
nitrohuck
with the p-tex in there its hard to tell but it does not seem to be a core shot. Just a nice little snag. I can't even remember this happening on the board but I'm sure my coach just filled it in real quick. I'm sure any avid rider would rather just fill it in again himself and to his specs, so I haven't patched it up myself since the original p-tex was added.
