I was shaped by one of the same shapers as the swoard i would quess thats around a 93-94 model I am just quessing about the year though. If you're looking for a starter board, a rock board, or bench material, can't see any reason not to give it a shot. If you're looking for a new freecarve board, you can be certain this won't compare to a newer board. Fun doesn't necessarily have a linear relationship to performance though. I say you buy it, discard the bindings just to be on the safe side, ride it, and give us a review.
