BulletProof Posted February 26, 2009 Report Share Posted February 26, 2009 Just saw a report on the Discovery Chanel. An inventor at Sheffield University developed a liquid wax dispensing system. The reservoir is located within the ski binding risers. Ski flex, adjustable valves, tubes and micro pores forces the liquid onto the base. They've tested various biodegradeable for various snow conditions (and for the plastic snow used on some UK ski hills...) I think he had Head as a partner. Curious indeed.
