www.oldsnowboards.com
Following up on a recent email from a good friend in Montana. I go to check the "E-Ticket" prices and here is the photo on the page header. Keep in mind it rotates through different photos each time you refresh. Pretty cool, looks like a hardbooter to me. Anyone we know at BOL?? NICE!!!

www.oldsnowboards.com
Cool, I am trying to make out what board that is too? Looks like a fun ski/snowboard area.
crazyTKDsquirrel
It's small, but great for the price. They're better known for their powder, but from the few times that I've been there, the groom has been pretty nice. Steve lives right next door so he would know better than me. :p
Steve Prokopiw
but I can't figure out who that is in the photo.Lookout is the 'buttermilk 'of our valley as far as the easy carving runs.Well ,a much much much much smaller Buttermilk.:)
kinpa
Nope, no clue who it is! Never seen him before. Stock photo maybe???? Anyway, I think Lookout is great for carving, but haven't seen too many of us there. Anyone care to join me?????
crazyTKDsquirrel
Hey kinpa, I was debating on going this weekend...I have a cupon (buy one get one free) I could possibly split with you if I make it up. That would be sweet! Now I just need to get an alpine board, dangit!
kinpa
Thanks for the offer, but I am an instructor there so I don't need a ticket! I'll be there on Saturday for sure, but I may have to teach some during the day. I got a board you could use, if you want. It's a Hot 156, older, but still works. You could rent ski boots to use with it, if you need boots. Ski boots will work, although I don't recommend it for all the time. If you need help getting started with it, I could certainly help you some too. Kathy
crazyTKDsquirrel
Thank you for the offer kinpa! Very generous of you :) I actually already have the plates and boots, all I need now is a decent board. I'm actually looking for one around 168-172 in length. Thanks again for the offer! Maybe I'll see you on Saturday if I'm able to go.
kinpa
Ok, so maybe it's ok that you didn't make it on Saturday! Now, don't get me wrong.... the snow was beautiful, the grooming was amazing, but.... First thing in the morning there was some wind and a whole lot of fog up top (who needs to see where you are going anyway..... right BIGFISH gang???? hahahah). Then it lifted and the sun came out! BUT..... by 11am the chair on the front broke down. So, you had to skate/glide the snowmobile trail out to the other lift which really wasn't that bad... only took about 10 minutes or so. Then.... ahhhhh.... nice.... so nice, that I ended up on my skiis most of the day! hahahahaa
crazyTKDsquirrel
I did go and it was amazing!!!! I stayed on Sundance and Whitetail 90 percent of the time...If you saw any trenches on those runs, it was from me! I took a lot of pics too. My profile pic and avatar was from Saturday :D
crazyTKDsquirrel
Hey Kathy are you up for Lookout on Saturday? If you are, could you possibly bring your 157? Even though it's a little small, it's something! Also, do you know anyone that would split a cupon with me? I have about 3 left and would like to get a discount, but I don't have anyone that can go with me :(
crazyTKDsquirrel
email sent, Kathy
crazyTKDsquirrel
Hmm...saw an alpine boarder at Lookout today. He was on a Genetics (?) board with snowpro race bindings. I'm sure it's not the guy in the pic above, but it's a fellow boarder nonetheless! I wonder if he's on BOL...
