gdboytyler
I'll be riding at Steamboat from 2-23 to 2-26-09. Except on 2-25, I'm doing a day with Steamboat Powdercats. Anybody else going to be around? My brother canceled at the last minute, so I'll be riding solo. Also, which runs are the best for carving? The steeper the better. Thanks, Erwin
Dave Winters
I'm pretty much a weekend warrior at this point, having just returned from SES in Aspen, or I'd join you and show you around a little bit. If you want steeps your going to the wrong mtn really, but Storm Peak Face to Sunset is good as well as Westside and Rolex when it's groomed, and on lower mtn See Me has a nice pitch. Some others not as steep: Rainbow, Buddy's Run, High Noon, Flintlock. Sunshine Lift Line. Email me for more info if you like. winters dot d at comcast dot net. gdboytyler
Dave, Thanks for the carving recommendations. I highlighted my trail map. I'm going to Steamboat mainly for the champagne powder and the snowcat operation. I would prefer to have it just dump during my entire trip and leave the Coiler Schtubby in the hotel room. Dupraz 5'5" will be my powder board I also sent you an email.
