Dan
See today's post - now taking offers, and open to trades for backcountry gear (shovel, probe, crampons, snowshoes, etc.) I only rode these 4 or 5 days; they fit me great around the foot, and very badly around the calf. The cuff gave me shinbang, I couldn't work out a fix, and I went back to Raichles. They have a walk/ride switch that appears to have four stops (i.e., 4 levels of forward lean), and a spring for progressive forward resistance. The toe pads are removable, and can be switched for DIN ski-boot style toes. Note that I've heard that the toe pads can fail, so you need to check their integrity as part of your maintenance routine. As noted in the title, this is a 4 buckle boot. The bottom two buckles on each boot are ski boot style with micro-adjustment. The top two buckles use a ratcheting strap. The sole length is much shorter than Raichles in the same mondo size, meaning that you can ride flatter angles than with Raichles and still have no overhang. That's about everything I know about these boots, but if you post any questions I'll try to answer them. Any questions I can't field, I'm sure the BOL collective can help out with. Dan
Bump. Open to offers or trades. I'm interested in snowshoes, an avy shovel, probe, and crampons. Possibly splitboard bindings too.

Dan
Hey Hunter, you can actually e-mail me through BOL. If you log in and click a username, you should get the option to "send email". I'll shoot you an e-mail. There was one other person looking at these boots, but I think he may have wound up buying a different pair; I'll touch base with him and check.
