Erik J
Good idea! Buy sheets of gold leaf, make a snowboard using that under a clear topsheet and sell it for an obscene markup by calling it the "24 carat snowboard". Technically not lying, but very misleading. I don't actually know, I'm just speculating. Just seems fishy.
xy9ine
covering an average deck in 24k gold leaf would cost ~$500 (quick guesstimate based on googled current prices). that's a decent margin!
mr_roboteye
I think you guys are right, covering a normal board in gold leaf and clearcoating it would be a relatively easy proposition. Hmmmmm, I wonder if anybody sells titanal leaf? later, Dave R.
