RDY_2_Carve Posted December 23, 2008 Report Share Posted December 23, 2008 How close are ski areas to this place? I just lost my contract and my company has some positions up there in Wyoming. There is a outside chance I could be relocating from Albuquerque. Gotta love life as a DoD contractor. :( So what's the boarding like up there? How far are we talking for a commute to the closest ski areas, and what type of quality are we looking at? I'm sure it's better than Alabama (my next option), or Saudi Arabia (my next choice). Actually, the driving time from Cheyenne to Loveland Pass is about the same as the time from Denver to Beaver Creek. Not optimal, but doable.
