First snow of the season

Well technically our home mountain is Cascade but we frequent Indianhead regularly and are season pass holders.

Granted our dinky little mountain can't compare to the Colorado Rockies, etc, but it's something to practice on before hitting the big leagues you know.

Eventually I would love to move out west.

Actually the UP ski areas have pretty nice snow due to the "lake effect snow" of the the great lakes. This why most people from the mid-west travel to the UP >4hrs for 650ft of vert!

Granite Peak looks way better than when I lived there.... I remember the awesome headwall of "big rib" . Used to ride my burton performer on it after it closed in the spring prior to real snowboards being allowed.....
