SnoPros and Raichle 413's

I just recently got SnoPro Race Standards and Some Raichle 413's. I now have a problem...when i try to step in with my heel the bail wont latch to the hell leaving me with nothing to lock into. I took it to one of the shops around here and the guys there didnt have much of an idea of what they were doing since it was one of the first alpines they had seen. So if you could help me that would be great! Thanks!

JK if it won't stay up wrap some tape around the bail where it crosses the heel part of the binding just enough to cause frictiopn to tighten the fit a little.

Stepping in hell first will work but it takes a lot more work. Also, the bail comes up but the heel just wont catch on and lock in. I am still going to take it to another shop around here to see if they can do anything. Im guessin if the kinks in the bails were bent out a little the heel would fit fine.

Regular bindings: Regular bale bindings usually have a wire bale at the heel, and a toe clip at the front. To engage, place your boot heel into the heel bale, and lean down and manually flip the front toe bale to lock in the boots. You often need to be on a relatively flat surface when engaging regular bindings.

This is what The Carvers Almanac says about regular bindings, but i was told differently. What with that? Im just confused now.

SD, you should come to Crystal this Sunday and let the vets take a look in person. Just bring your softboot rig as insurance in case they can't get it straightened out.

See the recent Crystal Mountain WA thread for details. It'll only be my third day in hardboots so you won't be the only alpine beginner by a long shot.
