tex1230
check the carver's almanac - Scott has a good list ofonline videos - you can probably find most of those on youtube... Ifyou're just looking for oldschool videos get in touch with Bryan at Oldsnowboards.com - he sells Standard Films re-issues of the TB series from the late 80's / early '90s
snowghost
In the 1980's and early 1990's a lot of older skateboard shops that started in the 1970's used to rent snowboard videos to get skaters interested in snowboarding. Most of the shop owners still have the videos in their personal collections, but they won't let you take them out of the shop to copy without a $100 deposit or more because they are too valuable and rare today. The funniest one was "Mountain Surfers", that was filmed in about 1985. It had Euros in one piece ski suits teaching snowboarding using ski poles and ski boots on the old boards with highback bindings that did not fold down yet. Some newbies even tried to learn how to snowboard from this video, because PSIA, the Professions Ski Instructors of America, did not get interested in snowboard instruction until 1987-88, after they realized that they could make money from snowboarding instead of trying to keep us off the ski hills. In the mid-1980's a group of us, called the "Midwest Snowboard Association", used to travel the road like the old "Negro" baseball teams from the 1930's, doing "Saturday demos" at "skier only" mountains to introduce them to snowboarding. NOTE: The "carver's almanac" is a great site, but not as accurate as they should be when they discuss equipment that was made before 1993.
