CarveItUp
We are coming to the SES this year for the first time. The weather forecasts show temps from 4-11 degrees Celsius. But I assume this is in the village. Being from Ontario where big mountains are 600 feet high, the weather at the top isn't too different from the weather in the village. But what about Aspen? What kind of conditions should we expect on the mountain? We're flying in on Tuesday so we're still trying to figure out what to pack. Thanks in advance! big mario
The forecast I was looking at ranged from lows of-13 c at night to around 1c for a high during the day. You can expect a difference of about -2c per one thousand feet of elevation, or about 6c cooler from town to the top of snowmass. A little warmer than where I normally ride, but still on the chilly side. See you on Wed. mario
