neil sunday
Coaches, Parents, and others... this is a kid i know who is a very good park rider that walked away and went to school the next day. Had he not been wearing his helmet, what could have happened? Listen for the impact. You can hear the destruction. Again, he walked away from this accident. bill b
neil, its funny you should post that. the reason i was not at mac tracks yesterday was because of an accident i had last weekend. if i hadnt had a helmet on i am sure i would have cracked my skull.even with helmet i had a concussion that had me in the hospital all weekend. i lost my memory for 36 hrs.and has been vague all week, i would have trouble telling you what i had for breakfast today. the dr thinks the impact caused me to have a seizure and that is why my memory is so bad. i already bought a new helmet but i wont use it for another week or so, i dont remember how to get to the mountain.DONT EVER GO OUT WITH OUT A HELMET . iridevt
Yup helmets are a good idea unless you feel you have nothing upstairs worth protecting. Hats are for the bar; helmets are for the hill.
McFussel
Even if your brain is as big as a nut - a helmet is worth using it
Brian
Helmet head not lobotmy head. I'd rather have a bottle in front of me not a frontal lobotomy. I passed this on to my son when he started boarding, he never rides without it. Bill hope that you heal well and out riding soon. aloha
