I need a setup! Please help even with advice, I'm new to hardboots...

I just measured my feet, I have 'Mondo' 27.6. What size boots are best for me? Also I am looking for the following items (but if you think I should be looking for something different, please say so!) I am 5'11, 140-145 lbs, very agressive on softboots, winning USASA races in them, and looking to start hardboots for competitions:

GS board about 175

SL board about 155

Bindings for each

Boots that will fit me

I don't care about brand as long as it will work well and be fast! I'm on a tight budget.

And even just one of the boards would be good if you have it. Ever heard of people using ONE board for BOTH GS and SL? Recommend it? Please give feedback even if its just a quick answer.

the boots do not have moldable liners, and are in very good condition. 12 yrs old used lightly 3 seasons I will use the liners myself in my Intec 124's if you don't want them.

One pair of binders used lightly 1 season the other used for 3 season, If they weren't useable by me,(180#, 6ft, agressive rider) I wouldn't sell them to you.

I couldn't replace my liners for $50, & $50 is cheap for extra bindings. I'll split the shipping with you, $10 & i'll cover the rest.

I am in the same situation as the original poster. I have raced GS for a few years with softboots (but boarding for 16 yrs) and I was hoping to move to hardboots and a racing board. I am 5'-9", 155lbs, size 9.5 or 10 boots. I race in the pacific northwest. I want a race board but have no idea what size or specs I am looking for. Can someone help me out with some recommendations?

Need some of your info for that.

Hieght? Wieght? Stance? Size of feet? For Carving or All Mountain.

Racing GS,SL? One Board for all is the worst of all worlds.

There is the Money you want to $pend too.

If you want to find your needs cheap this a good place to do it.

Experiment.We all do.

Have a pair of Burton Megaflex boots 27.5 OlD,Good shape w/original liners

Have a 166 Vas Rossi w/F3 Burton Race bindings.Beefy Bails.Modern shape

Narrow in the waste.Good balance of effective edge to radious.

Can dig up specs and a pic or two upon request.

For Instance I am 6'2 190lb and have rode set up for mentioned 1 day

So it is a touch soft for me,yet still rails along in comfort, control.

A lot easyer-erh to work with than say a Prior 173 WCR for an intro.

Just getting back into Carving myself.{Gaper time}

I bought all of it for a friend 5'10' 165lb and got it tuned in hopes to get him out Carving, but his Wife Clamped him down.

Boots,Binders,Board w/tune and all the extra Cants/lifts for bindings too.{Reciepts even} $250 is what I am in all of it.

If that set up will work for you?? If you have any questions I can answer, cool.

If I don't have a good answer I can get some one who will.

Just get out Carving.
